I’m looking for smoothy recipes that I can make in the evening or morning and will be good for later in the day. I have a refrigerator at work and I have a small shaker. Any ideas?

Has anyone tried the “green smoothies?” They LOOK (to me) like they would taste so gross but my impression on the show was that you don’t notice the green. I have tons of kale, collards and spinach growing in the garden. There are just two of us here and I’ve had gastric bypass so I can’t consume the volume that greens offer when cooked the conventional way. However, on most mornings, because I get tired of eggs and I avoid wheat, I turn to a smoothie with protein added. So, I’m thinking that putting in a few leaves of the greens would be an extra benefit…..I just don’t want to taste “green.” We also grow blueberries so I really only have to buy some bags of frozen fruit to get a great power smoothie made. And now I’ll add some oranges with a better blender to break them down.
